Meet Cowboy Kim

Eubin "Cowboy" Kim is a stand-up comedian based in Austin, TX, originally from Seoul, South Korea. He was raised in the American South and draws from his background in Korean culture, Southern upbringing, and millennial experiences.

He first attempted stand-up during a 2012 college talent show, but an unfortunate incident where a floormate sabotaged his set led him to step away from comedy for years.

​

In 2025, he returned to the stage with a renewed voice and focus, making his debut at Austin’s Vulcan Gas Company. He is now also the creator and host of Karaoke Royale, a live karaoke-comedy competition that features singer battles, live roasting, and audience voting.

Eubin’s comedy explores themes like immigrant identity, cultural absurdity, modern relationships, and creative burnout.

He performs across Austin and Houston, and is available for:
